This program is strictly an acting class for those who wish not to study musical theatre. This is an affordable and enjoyable experience for the entire family. The fun and energetic class allows children to tap into their creative energies. Fundamentals such as speech, role-playing, and character development are practiced. Toward the second half of the year, the children apply their theatrical technique to a play that will be presented at the end of 24 weeks showcasing their craft. The production will take place in our studio. Limit 12 per class.
Featuring our youngest performers in the school, this class is a fun and affordable way for your child to explore performing in musicals. Songs are selected from the Broadway and Disney catalogues. No previous experience is required. Techniques in such areas of singing and dancing will be focused on, all the singing done in performance is live. This awesome class is a great introduction to the art of musical theatre. At the end of the course, our students will take part in a musical revue at our studio showcasing their talents. This class is a continuation of our Rising Star Musical Theatre Program. Each child will participate in an abridged Broadway Style Musical. The difference between this class and The Broadway Musical Theatre Jr. program is that these students perform their musical in our studio and not on the main stage. This makes this class an affordable alternative to those students who wish to continue their musical theatre experience, without the pressure of performing in front of hundreds! Limit 16 per class
This class is for the serious young actor. Its primary focus is on character development, speech and movement for the stage. In this particular class, the work and ethics of Acting for Teens are practiced at an advanced level. At the end of the year all the skills honed in class, will be showcased in a Full-scale play produced at The Toronto Centre for the Arts (Studio Theatre). Note: Acceptance into this class requires a minimum full year of study in one of our other programs. Students are invited by our artistic director to join this class. Invitation is determined at the sole discretion of the artistic director. Re-enrolment is by invitation only. Limit 16 per class
This popular, high-octane class develops singing, dancing and acting skills by interpreting various Broadway Musicals. The focus is ensemble based work, with each child stepping forward to display his/her skill and development of this popular art form. Every child involved, is the star of our fully staged Broadway Musical in June, which is performed in a professional theatre space. The only experience required, is a desire to have a blast!
Limit 18 per class
This serious class is for those children who have a deep passion and show great potential in the Performing Arts. Classes focus on all elements of the craft of acting, singing and dancing. Children entering this class must be mature and be well versed in all three disciplines. Guest lecturers or a field trip to a Professional play takes place throughout the year. A fully mounted musical is presented at The Toronto Centre for the Arts (Studio Theatre) in June. Note: Acceptance into this class requires a minimum full year of study in one of our other programs. • A $100 non-refundable deposit is required for the Rising Star and Acting for Teens programs upon registration to secure space.
• A $200 non-refundable deposit is required for the Broadway Musical Theatre,
Advanced Theatre and $300 for Master Class programs upon registration to secure a space.
There are no refunds after October 9th 2023.
• A mandatory series of post-dated schedules are required by the first class.
• The balance of fees for “The Rising Star” and “Acting for Teens’ program must be paid by Dec. 1st, 2024.
• Our programs are not suitable for children with behavioural difficulties or learning disabilities.
• Unfortunately we do not offer trial classes. Each student participating in our classes must be registered in the school.
• Broadway Musical Theatre, Advanced Theatre and Master Class may be paid by monthly installments. A 10% discount will be offered only if paid at time of registration.
• For the Broadway Musical Theatre class, costumes and dance wear are not included. We guarantee that the costume fee will not exceed $125

Pricing And Payment Policies for the 2024/2025 season
• ***The Broadway Musical JR & Teens classes are the most popular classes within the school and sell out within a few months of registration. Should this be your class selection for your child, we ask that you register promptly when registration commences to avoid disappointment. A waiting list will be started once the classes fill up.
• CTP offers a 10% discount that applies to the following classes: Broadway Musical Theatre (Teens & JR), Master Class and Advanced Theatre. This is valid at time of registration only. The 10% Discount only applies up until June 1st,2024. The 10% discount will not be applicable to any payments made in full after this date.
• We do not offer a 10% discount on the following classes: Rising Star (Musical & Acting) Acting for Teens and Broadway Kids.
• Advanced Theatre and Master Class emails will be sent separately at a later date to those currently enrolled.
• Registration for the 2024/2025 Season commences Tuesday, April 30th 2024 and continues until the classes fill to capacity.
• A space for your child is reserved, once the office receives the signed and completed application with the appropriate deposit and/or payment in full.
• Unfortunately, consulting with a CTP staff member prior to registration does not constituent a registration.
• Note: All deposits for our classes hold a spot for your child and are non-refundable, please see new deposit policy in price menu.

***Our Rising Star, Acting for Teens and Broadway Kids Classes run for approximately twenty-five to twenty-seven weeks.
***Our programs are not sold per-class but rather for the overall duration and quality of the courses offered.
